Horton, author of the Langley & Porter Mystery series, began writing at a young age and has grown and matured in her passion since. She writes across all genres, choosing to focus mainly on character development to create lasting emotional relationships between her readers and her characters. Her proclivity for writing mystery stems from her degree in Criminal Justice and her interest in an era where the modern forensics and investigative techniques are unavailable. But romance holds a special place in her heart as well and she recognizes that the love we share for our families, friends, and lovers are an integral part of all of our lives and therefore an integral part of her stories as well.
